Shilpesh spearheads the assurance and due diligence vertical for SAGA. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has worked in the assurance space for almost 10 years. Shilpesh has carried out due diligence and reviews of implementing partners on behalf of funding organisations and corporates. He is an expert in program review, CSR audits and financial due diligence of NGOs and corporate foundations. He has helped some of the leading corporates to set up their own foundations for CSR. His team conducts assurance for CSR projects across the sector.

Shilpesh specializes in Indirect Taxation Laws like Goods and Service Tax (GST) and has been taking capacity building workshops for charity sector organisations on GST and allied issues. He regularly contributes on GST issues through article and research papers. Shilpesh was working as an independent consultant prior to joining SAGA.
