Dr. Manoj Fogla, is an Advocate by Profession, he is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also holds a Masters degree in Philosophy and has completed Ph.D. from Utkal University, Odisha on Social Accountability Standards for NPOs. He has also done MDP at Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, on Management of Non-profit & Non-Govt. Organisations. He specialises in legal, governance & finance issues related to voluntary organisations. He is the taxation and legal Advisor to many large charitable institutions in the country.

He is the faculty for Rural Management MBA students at XIMB, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. He is also the faculty for two of the eight courses (paper) in the Diploma programme for the e-based Diploma programme in Financial Management and Accountability programme by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and FMSF which is meant for promoting management skills and accountability in the voluntary sector. He is actively engaged in facilitating seminars, workshops, evaluations & investigations in various parts of South Asia. He is a visiting faculty to various institutions of national and international repute.

He provides continuous legal handholding and due diligence support to various National and International Organisations.

He has been intensely involved in ‘Capacity Building of NGOs across South Asia. The Capacity Building initiative includes conducting various training programmes and workshops on various issues like Planning and Monitoring of Development Projects, legal issues, income tax matters, governance related topics, reporting requirements of funding agencies etc.
